The Story
In a recent meeting, I was keeping notes of our conversation in the Calendar event on my Samsung Captivate. During my next break, I copied the text from the Calendar event into a new Google doc on my Captivate smart phone. When I returned to the office, the new document was available in my Google docs which I updated and refined. In our next meeting, I will open and work with the Google doc on my phone.
The Principle
Record information one time in one place, share and synchronize as needed
The Steps
1. Keep short notes of the discussion in the Calendar event for the meeting
2. Copy to Google Docs, Word, email, etc. for later use, sharing, collaboration and updates
3. Synchronize it all through the web
